Capybara plush

I made this little guy as a gift for my brother. I made the sewing pattern completely from scratch and machine embroidered the eyes.

Decay Beast

This critter was made with a simple pattern I came up with. It uses two different layers of fabric to get the torn, decayed look. I top stitched the black and red fabric together in stripes and used a seam ripper to make the gashes. The green and brown on the legs are embroidered french knots and other stitches.

Angel Dragon

This dragon has a wire skeleton wrapped in fabric. I made the wings using the same technique as the Decay Beast--sewing two pieces of fabric together and then sewing around the eye shapes before cutting them out.I embroidered the eyes on the first piece of fabric before sewing them together. The tail is decorated with ink designs. The internal organs are red fabric strips which I arranged into place and then hairsprayed to make stiff.

Cambrian Explosion embroidery

This is a fun double-hoop embroidery where the top layer has an anomalocaris happily swimming and the bottom layer is filled with cambrian plant life and trilobites. I embroidered on blue tulle and wrapped the two hoops together with a blanket stitch.

Decay Possum doll

I made this using the same techniques as the Decay Beast, aside from the tail and pawpads, which are fabric I soaked with ink and crunched up to let dry with a mottled design. The chest has three layers of fabric to give it a look of depth.
